As an embodied awareness guide, I lead you towards reconnecting with the inner wisdom and security that lies within your own body and intuition. I work in secular and sacred spaces- how the path unfolds is up to you! If you prefer to emphasize evidence-based methods and techniques, we can do that. If you want to have deep existential conversations in conjunction with yoga poses based on chakra healing, we can do that. My methods are a blend of positive neuroplasticity, zen philosophy and mindfulness, yoga therapy including ayurveda, somatic therapy, and evidence-based research. 

My primary intention with all clients is nervous system co-regulation. I provide a safe space where all feelings and emotions can be expressed. Everything is completely confidential.

How It Works


During your initial consult, we will discuss your chief complaints and goals, and determine if we are both ready to move forward. We review previous medical and behavioral health history, and take a deeper dive into your presenting symptoms. We will go over some suggestions for initial lifestyle changes, and then you can choose between a 5 pack or 10 pack of sessions.

Therapeutic Yoga


My focus is on guiding students towards adaptive resilience by perspective taking and finding their inner teacher— referencing their own bodies to detailed, alignment-oriented instructions, and centered attention on the mind/body/breath connection. We will discharge trauma from the nervous system in a way that is safe—physically, mentally, emotionally; I have constantly refined those parameters over the past 12 years as a teacher through my work with traumatized individuals and groups. Depending on how your bodymind presents and what your goals are, we will use one of the following strategies for an embodiment practice:

Release tension through yin, restorative, and yoga nidra practices, with a focus on slow breathing, safety, self compassion, and letting go. 

Build strength through a quicker paced, steady align and flow practice, with a focus on increasing heart rate variability, building strength and finding balance in the mindbody. 

Maintain wellness through a blend of both practices, determined by the client’s presenting needs on the day of the session.

Coaching


Opportunities exist where there is a gap between where you are and where you want to be. This offer is for those seeking insight who are ready to be held accountable and explore the depths of their conscious decision making and subconscious programming to create a more fulfilling life.

You will be expected to communicate openly to help drive the agenda. Your mindset may be challenged, but from challenge comes growth and transformation. Through questions that evoke self discovery and reflection, we will find alignment between your values, goals, and behaviors. I will use both directive and non-directive language to help you identify and engage strengths, and explore inner resources for healing and growth. Through incremental changes it is possible to overcome burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, and shame. My feedback is goal-referenced, transparent, and actionable.
